Samuel de Champlain
Introducción El explorador francés Samuel de Champlain nació en 1574 en Brouage, Francia. Comenzó a explorar América del Norte en 1603, estableciendo la ciudad de Quebec en la colonia norteña de Nueva Francia y mapeando la costa atlántica y los Grandes Lagos, antes de asumir un rol administrativo como gobernador de facto de Nueva Francia en 1620.
